"You've failed me again Starscream"

I have to say Transformers: The Movie didn't suck as much as I thought it was going to be, I got past the whole contemporarizing issue like Bumblebee being a Camaro rather than a VW beetle (I find the scene where bumblebee parked near an old yellow VW beetle and smashing it with his door quite funny actually) and the update Starscream had to an F-22, hell I can even TOLERATE Optimus' flaming paint job and other various adjustments but I just thought it needed more robots and less people because Transformers as I remembered was about robots fighting robots.

Personally I would have liked to see more of the old Transformer in it, like how annoyingly screechy voice Starscream had and how much of a cowardly backstabbing prick he was or having Soundwave instead of Frenzy (oddly enough Megatron face looks more like Galvatron) but I guess they have a good reason for that. I also thought that the robots didn't get enough screen time and dialogue, I mean It's called Transformers: The Movie so I would have excepted more talking robots than how the humans are handling the supposed onslaught of a robot invasion.

The whole human involvement in the war was a little too much since transformers was about the clash between two robot ARMIES (yes, with more than 4 on each side surprisingly) with humans HELPLESSLY stuck in the middle of their war mostly doing nothing other than running and screaming, you see where I'm getting at here?

My major complaint about this movie is basically one thing and I've already said it, there's just TOO MANY PEOPLE AND NOT ENOUGH ROBOTS! I DON'T CARE ABOUT HOW PEOPLE REACT TO GIANT ROBOTS, I WANT TO SEE GIANT ROBOTS FIGHTING!

Yes I'm fully aware I made the same point 4 times in 4 different paragraphs that's because the movie needed MORE TALKING, TRANSFORMING AND FIGHTING ROBOTS THAN PEOPLE!!!

You see I'd like to rant and rave about many technical things about the movie in comparison to the original series, heck even with the new comic books that just went out recently like how Cybertron still exist and the Autobots and Decepticons have been stuck on Earth for the past 4 million years instead of arriving recently amongst other things but I just can't get past this tiny, itsy bitsy bit of fact in the movie that there were TOO MANY PEOPLE AND NOT ENOUGH ROBOTS!!
